Everything begins with an idea!
Wood is synonymous to nature for us. Reveling in its differences and cherishing the quirks, we celebrate wood in its truest form. Our experiences inspire us to create designer furniture pieces that take a centre stage in your homes, offices, interior projects and stores across the world. We are a custom furniture manufacturer with our studio and manufacturing based out of India since early 2000.
We love to challenge ourselves and cross boundaries. Our aim is to spread our made In India story worldwide and yes, we ship globally.

We started in a small garage with some essential tools, two workmen and an idea. Together we designed, drew, cut, sawed and chiseled our way to create a design company. Knock on Wood has built itself from a legacy of over two decades from its home brand ‘House of Design’ to combat the dearth of custom-created quality furniture.
Over the last 20 years, our small ‘idea’ has grown into a state-of-the-art furniture design and manufacturing unit, spread over a few thousand square feet.
In 2019, we embarked on a new journey with Knock on Wood Exports, carving a new story and creating meaningful expressions and experiences around the world with a range of wood and metal furniture, kept simple yet bold.
We export furniture pieces globally and our designer furniture pieces have been used in various interior projects and top fashion stores around the world like Massimo Dutti.
We may have grown in scale but we remain a people’s company at heart. That’s our true hope ….Knock on Wood !!

Aarti Aggarwal, Principal Designer
The Knock on Wood Exports creative team is lead by Aarti Aggarwal. Aarti has studied domestic design from University of Arts, London and specialized in Chair design from Danish Skole of Design, Copenhagen. Aarti’s strong design sensibility articulates her international exposure and innate love for Indian art & culture.

Our Infrastructure
We are a renowned furniture design studio, providing end-to-end services, we boast of our state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, spread over a few thousand square feet. Everything we do, we do with love and care with our team of designers (from best design institutes of the world), skilled craftsmen and dedicated workmen.
We utilize the best of equipment and latest technology to create long-lasting, multifunctional furniture pieces. We are one of the few furniture design houses in India that have a captive 5 axis router and a metal laser giving us the high grade precision needed to produce consistent quality repetitively.
Our manufacturing facility is located on the 40-acre JCBL premises, and draws on the technical expertise, advanced technology and R&D excellence to engineer truly unique designs.
